  • Grass Roots Speakers Bureau is a central location for agricultural advocacy.  This is where men and women who know and love agriculture, and who will share their passion with other people, get speaking engagements.  We also discuss ideas on topics important to their community.  What makes this a one-stop-shop?  GRSB is where organizations can come to find speakers who understand and communicate the critical issues facing agriculture today, and how they impact each person.    GRSB connects leaders in agriculture with their communities.

  • Primarily members are agriculture professionals who have already invested time in leadership training programs.  We help you move from class participation to community involvement.  For instance, you should become a member if you have graduated from at least one industry-related leadership training program, like Farm Bueau PAL program; AgriPower; Syngenta's Leadership at its Best; state LEAD; Soybean Leadership College, etc.

  • Joining Grass Roots Speakers Bureau is free.  Benefits include full speaker biography, including contact information, speaking topics and a link to your personal or business website.  Also, the ability to post articles about topics of expertise and experience, as well as forums for discussing timely topics, and continuing education through a variety of online learning opportunities (still in development).

  • Many critical issues face agriculture today.  The profession needs advocates who can meet those challenges head-on and promote the great things that farmers and other agriculture professionals do.  Whether you speak on a national level, or you prefer to share with those closer to home, Grass Roots strives to connect you with organizations looking for experts to speak to their membership.

Welcome to Grass Roots Speakers Bureau

The mission of Grass Roots Speakers Bureau is to connect leaders in agriculture with their communities by encouraging active involvement in advocating and promoting agriculture as a profession.

Many critical issues face agriculture today.  The profession needs advocates who can meet those challenges head-on and promote the great things that farmers and other agriculture professionals do.

The Grass Roots Speakers Bureau exists as a resource for agriculture professionals to get the most out of leadership training programs - to move from class participation to community involvement.

How do we achieve our goal of "Connecting leaders in agriculture with their communities by encouraging active involvement in advocating and promoting agriculture as a profession?”  With a focus on service leadership, Grass Roots Speakers Bureau strives to move farmers and other agriculture professionals from leadership program participation to actively advocating for agriculture in their communities.  We are also actively developing relationships with local, national, and international media so Grass Roots Speakers become trusted resources for accurate information, perspective, education, and human interest.

Whether you speak on a national level, or you prefer to share with those closer to home, Grass Roots strives to connect you with organizations looking for experts to speak to their membership.

Everyone has a story.  Let us help you share yours!
